Enrichment Classes at St. Thomas
At St. Thomas we believe that it is important to develop the whole child; mind, body and spirit. We offer a variety of enrichment classes that create a well rounded educational experience for our students.
Children learn to sing, read music, and play instruments in an Orff based curriculum. Music classes involve students in movement activities, singing games, and Orff instruments. Performance opportunities, both at school and in the community, are offered throughout the year. Third grade students learn to play the recorder, and 5th graders play in the Chime Choir. Music is also an integral part of the daily chapel service.
