Hi! My name is Chris Bohlke and I am the PK 4- 5th grade computer teacher, and the PE Teacher. I know what you are thinking PE Teacher teaching computers? I did receive my degree in business and computers from Texas ATM University in College Station. I went to work as a programmer and then as a project manager. I then started my own business and was self employed. When our sons came along I became a stay at home dad, and have enjoyed it immensely.  St Thomas asked me to sub a few classes and I just fell in love with the school. I am a member of St Thomas church, as my wife has been going to St Thomas in College Station since she was 8 yrs old. I have found teaching kids about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is exciting and love seeing kids light up when they see a new robot rolling down the hall. PE for me is a time to get kids to try new sports and learn about being fit while playing games and having fun.

A native of Dumfries, Virginia, I moved to Texas upon graduation from Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music (now Shenandoah University) with a degree in Music Therapy. I have had the pleasure of working with children in a variety of settings including Ector County ISD, Odessa, TX as a Music Therapist, Lufkin State School,  St. John’s Episcopal School in Odessa, and University United Methodist Church, San Antonio, as Children’s Choir Coordinator.  I joined the faculty at St. Thomas in 2002, where I am the Early Childhood Music Specialist, Director of the Chime Choir, and also lead music for daily chapel.  I have been married to my husband, Rick, since 1988 and we have one daughter who attends Texas Tech. When I’m not teaching at St. Thomas, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, sewing, and spending time with my family. I am also a member of Central Texas Orff Association and the San Antonio Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity.
My name is Mary Elizabeth LeRoy.  I was born and raised here in San Antonio, Texas.  I graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1976.  I went off to college and eventually ended up attending a school in Dallas called Miss Wades Fashion College, where I graduated with a major in Fashion Design.  I worked in the fashion industry only a short time and left to work for the Dallas Market Center in the Buyer Services Division.  I was the assistant to the directors.  Not long after, I met my husband, who was French, and I left Dallas for Paris.  We lived there only a short time and returned to Dallas, where my first daughter was born.  I worked with my husband in our USA division of a French jewelry manufacturer and managed a furniture showroom in the World Trade Center.  He became ill and we moved back to San Antonio.
I returned to college and studied art education.   I home schooled my oldest daughter until 5th grade.  During these years I taught art to our home school group and taught art classes in summer camps at the San Antonio Academy.  After my youngest daughter was born I continued to stay home to raise my girls.  I returned to teaching summer art camps and still do presently at the San Antonio Academy and St. Thomas.   When my youngest was in second grade I was given the opportunity to join the St. Thomas Staff as the Art Teacher.   Teaching art is truly “my pleasure”.
Hola.  My name is Dee Dee Eiler.  This is my 8th year teaching at St. Thomas Episcopal School.  I am a native San Antonian.  I have been married for 30 years to my husband Jim, who is a pilot for United Airlines.  We have one son, Justin, who lives in Kauai, Hawaii with his beautiful wife Courtney.  So every summer Jim and I head to Hawaii to spend time with our kids.   I thoroughly enjoy working with all of the St. Thomas students, parents, and staff.  I have over 20 years of experience teaching Spanish to elementary students.  Teaching Spanish is both exciting and fun for me. The most rewarding part of my job is to see my students have fun learning a foreign language, embracing the Latin culture, and speaking Spanish!  I think the best way to learn a language is when it's relevant and fun!
