The Tiger Connections program schedule is listed separately, but can be coordinated with the Summer Pride Program. Summer Pride: 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. AM extended care - 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Morning - 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. Afternoon - 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. PM extended care Arrival and dismissal times are listed above. You may pick your child up at your convenience before the above-stated times. Students will be released only to authorized persons. (You must list authorized persons on your child’s paperwork at the time of registration.) Please notify anyone who may be picking up your child to have picture identification with them. Late fees Please do your best to pick your child up on time. We dislike late fees as much as you do. Late fees will be assessed at the rate of $1.00 for each minute. Late fees must be paid at the time they are incurred and are to be paid to the person who has stayed late with your child. Lunch Lunch is at 12:00 noon. All students must bring their own brown bag type lunch and drink each day. Students will keep lunches in their classrooms. No refrigeration or warming of lunches will be available. Snacks A daily morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Please inform the staff if your child has any food allergies. If a child has food allergies, we welcome parents to send an individual snack. Naps Children age 5 and under will nap or rest each afternoon. Mats are provided, but you may send a mat cover, blanket and/or a favorite soft toy to snuggle. Dress code Please dress your child in comfortable play clothes, including tennis shoes. We ask that you send an extra set of clothes for those times when a spill or an accident happens as students are more comfortable in their own clothes. Birthdays At St. Thomas, we feel that each child’s birthday is a special time. Let us know if your child has a summer birthday so we can celebrate with him/her. You may send birthday snacks for the class that day (please inquire about student food allergies within your child’s class). Special Needs If your child has any special needs, please be sure to have a conference with the director of programming so we will be able to meet requests and expectations. Sunscreen Summertime is a terrific time to have “fun in the sun”, but as we all know, too much of a good thing can be bad. Please put sunscreen on your children before they come in the morning. If you feel it is necessary, send the sunscreen of your choice with your child’s name on it and a permission note for use, and we will do our best to meet your request. Medications Parents are encouraged to give all medications to children before and after hours of attendance. However, at your written request, we will administer medication to your child. Procedures are as follows:
A permission slip must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian. Unused medications will be released only to adults. Illness If your child becomes ill while at the program, their immediate needs will be taken care of until a parent can be notified to pick them up. There is not a nurse on campus, so please be mindful to pick your child up as soon as contacted. We are caring and loving, but it’s not the same as the family connection they need when not feeling well. REMEMBER… ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE HEALTH AND EMERGENCY FORMS ON FILE BEFORE ATTENDING SUMMER SENSATIONS PROGRAMS, SUMMER PRIDE OR TIGER CONNECTIONS. |
